“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”
“From arrival to departure our stay was absolutely perfect. The breakfast in room with Nespresso machine, heated towel racks, high quality linens, and every other detail was completely intentional. The hotel is staff-less; however, a member of the team just happened to be present when we arrived. She took the time to show us around, helped us get settled, and answered any question we had about the hotel and town. “This accommodation is very remote. But really nice. The rooms are large and clean with nice en-suite facilities and the dining room - in an extended sun room - is spacious and comfortable. Very well run by a lovely couple we enjoyed our stay. Take dinner here - it’s very good value and enjoyable.”
“The men's bathroom was two floors below our room. The mattress on my bed was worn out and I could feel metal springs on my back. On the plus side, the room had a good view, it was reasonably priced, and the manager refunded my money when the paid-for breakfast was not provided.”
