“The stay was nice and the views from the hotel were fun. We did have black mold growing in our shower so that was a concern. Food was amazing at the restaurant. No Elevators for your luggage.”
“Very clean room, convenient location and staff excellent- they went out of their way to make us welcome. We had to check out before breakfast started so they put together a lovely packed lunch for us and showed us the fridge to store it overnight.
Rooms look recently fitted and decorated, hallway was a bit tired and could be done up. Would have liked the external door to be secured. No onsite parking but we found the East Bay carpark is not too far and there’s no charge.

“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”
“This accommodation is very remote. But really nice. The rooms are large and clean with nice en-suite facilities and the dining room - in an extended sun room - is spacious and comfortable. Very well run by a lovely couple we enjoyed our stay. Take dinner here - it’s very good value and enjoyable.”
“The owners were so helpful and kind. Food was excellent. Nice, slow breakfast that balanced the wild day we had exploring Mull. Owner helped us with a low tire and we.made the ferry on time. This is a unique hotel experience. Old, quaint and comfortable. Hreay after hours bar wirh friendly locals. Not the usual hotel - special.”
